I was here for dinner the other night doing my usual: Red wine and a Main. I'll start with the best: So, the dessert was incredible! It was the Torta Ai Frutti Di Bosco! a ball of chocolate with a core of crushed and chilled fruit, topped with whipped cream, lightly sauced with chocolate, and rich fruit jelly on the sides. It was tastefully cut in 4 parts and spread apart. I would go back just for that! The Wine, unfortunately had begun turning. It doesn't make the whole experience terrible because it had only JUST begun slightly, but I could taste it. It's understandable if there is no business (the night I went it was fairly dead, but was also very cold outside), how would you keep your product fresh? Still, that's no excuse. The main was a pizza. I had the most incredibly smelling pizza you could ever smell. Remember being on vacation, eating outside and you see the waiter coming your way with the food and your mouth begins to drip? When he finally places the food your whole sensory system nearlly shuts down from overload? That was the essence. He finally placed the food down in front of me and I got this waft of aromas, heat and spices! Very rich smelling plate that I marveled in it for a second before devouring it and almost the plate. The atmosphere was dark with what seemed to be a regular crowd by the bar. That's great, but it tells me that the business is not doing as good as it could be. Its at minimum, a 'Try'.
