Hi my name is Rubén!I'm from Spain!I think this restaurant is the biggest scam I've ever seen. I went yesterday there with my friends to show them how fantastic Spanish food is. I think this restaurant intend to cheat to people who have never been in Spanish selling food so diferent from the original Spanish food. I couldn't say anything good about this restaurant: 1º)Most of the dishes of the menu are Mexican dishes so the should say that this is a Mexican restaurant, no "Spanish restaurant". I think they just hung a Spanish flag on the wall and they call this restaurant "Spanish restaurant". In fact, the cook is Mexican and all the staff are from other countries except Spain. 2º)The dishes are really small, and the problem is not this one, because Spanish tapas are small, but they charge an average of 12 dollars for each ridiculous dish. This way you are wasting your money and you are going to keep hungry at the end of the dinner. 3º) We ate several dishes like Spanish ham (that wasn't Spanish Ham, I swear), Tortilla Española (The worst one I've ever eaten), Patatas bravas (I counted 6 pieces of patatas) and several awful dishes, but the worst one was the "paella" because I've never seen in 27 years in Spain an "orange paella" when paella is always yellow (by the way, we were waiting more than 30 minuts for this garbage). If they sell this "paella" in Spain they could go to the jail. 4º) Drink is really expensive!a glass of "kalimotxo" or "tinto de verano" cost 8 dollars and a pitcher cost 28 dollars when you have to know this kind of drink is Spain just is cheapest one you can drink(about 2 dollars) because it just consist in mix cheap wine and coke and they sell it like if it were gold. Simply unbelievable! I could keep telling bad opinios all day but I don't want to waste more time speaking about this "restaurant". To sum up, we paid 40 dollars each one and after that we had to go to a Chinese restaurant to have dinner again because we were hungry. So my recomendation is: Do not go this restaurant unless you want to waste your time and money. Just say I'm really indignant because this kind of restaurant just mess up the name of Spanish food in Toronto. Regards
