This is a very good restaurant in Toronto Greektown, the food was exquisite. It was recommended to us by a Bavarian Sausage vendor in front of city hall; also delicious and fresh. Of course being Greek, it was like talking with an aunt I hadnt seen in years. She gave us directions by subway which were perfect. The restaurant is across the street from the Chester subway! We made reservations, good idea cuz the line up was down the street on a Sunday nite! The owner's wife Olga greeted us and was very sweet, bringing us to our table-perfect for our family. It was clean, welcoming, comfortable seating and lovely ambiance; and the waiter was really professional, and patient. Weary from a 15 hour car trip, the day before, this meal was like arriving at an oasis. The Spanokotiropita was amazing! We had to order it twice because we couldnt resist! The platter of seafood was so fresh and cooked perfectly. It was like eating at my Yiayia's house. I had my favorite fish- Tsipoura - they call it Porgy or Sea Bass in English. It is not always available, so I was especially happy they had it and it was served perfectly, like I like it - grilled, or Skara as they say, with lots of lemon and a side of steamed fresh veggies. We were stuffed at the end and they offered us, a dreamy Greek dessert-on the house. We left there feeling like we had been taken care of like family. I dont review restaurants, but this place was special. Hope you have a chance to go!
