A friend and I discovered this restaurant in the end of May. Ironically, it caught our eye because we noticed how deserted their patio looked. Still outside, we looked over the menu and decided to give it a try. All the other surrounding restaurants/pubs were banal franchises that both of us didn't feel too excited about. As soon as we entered the place, it was dimly lit, with high ceilings and beautiful chandeliers. we were greeted by a smiling hostess and after a few minutes of a wait were directed to our seats. This is when we understood why no one chose to sit on the patio! The place was huge, with a trolley, a merry-go-round, amongst other unimaginable antique constructions within its interior. we were seated in a antique wooden elevator (which now resembled more of a gazebo). we're slim girls, so we fit quite nicely into the tight space and were comfortable. the trolley and the merry-go-around also had tables within them for larger-number parties. Of course, we ordered pasta. I can't remember exactly what I ordered except that it was very good, filling, and the serving size was just right! Before that, however, we were brought fresh, out of the oven, bread, still warm, with butter. we finished our meal with some delicious ice cream. Our waiter was very nice, checking up on us from time to time without being annoying. I will definitely come there again!

You'll wait for an hour to be seated, but you won't be disappointed. The portions are more than adequate and the food is delicious. Don't fill up on the homemade bread because you'll want to save room for dinner and dessert. You'll pay a bit more than at other restaurants but it's worth it. For a lark you can way in the trolley car.
