Ruined our Holiday Party - YES their food is good and the venue is beautiful BUT their lack of respect and business ethics ruined our Holiday Party of 55 people. We shook hands with the owner who came across as a honest nice guy. We were assured we would have the restaurant private for our Holiday Event. We had clients fly in from across Canada for our annual Holiday Party. We paid a DJ to provide us dance music and an Illusionist to provide us with entertainment for a 45 minute show. 8:00pm I enter the restaurant to see that my 55 guests are to be placed in half the restaurant because they have filled the other half of the restaurant. We were in a tight spot and were not able to move freely and mingle. I quickly realized that our party had been turned into a dinner and not by our choice. The owner came to me and said not to worry everyone would be out by 8:30pm. There was 1 table of VERY RUDE women that decided to talk and be loud during our show. They refused to be quit and the owner decided to hide in the kitchen and avoid speaking with us or the loud table. Needless to say the show was spoiled a bit and we paid a lot of money for the performer. The DJ went on and finally the table of rude women left. At the end of the evening the CEO of our company went to the owner with the list of complaints we had from the evening and obviously said that we did not think it was fare that we had to pay the price for a private venue when we DID NOT get a private venue. He did not care that our show was ruined or that he lied to us about the privacy of the event. TERRIBLE SERVICE BY THE OWNER, lack of respect was disgusting and the business ethics were embarrassing to say the least. DO NOT BOOK A PRIVATE PARTY HERE I wouldnt even suggest for you to eat in this restaurant because I do not feel that Mideastro deserves the good peoples money
