Poor service due to a very busy kitchen is understandable. Poor service due to understaffing is explainable. Poor service due to a complete-disregard-for-patrons-of-your-restaurant is unfathomable. I Love Sushi has got to be the worst-run establishments in all of Toronto! Where to even begin? The waitress at I Love Sushi was not the slightest bit helpful or forthcoming in her service. Not once in the hour and a half my girlfriend and I sat in their restaurant did she come by to ask (1) if we had gotten everything we had ordered (2) if we didn’t need anything more, or (3) if we were happy with the quality of food / service. She was just plain unhelpful. We along with at least three other tables were completely ignored the entire time we were at the restaurant. We waited for over an hour and fifteen minutes to get our food, and still did not receive our entire order. After finally flagging down the waitress and explaining our extremely long wait time, a small portion of our order came soon after but the sushi chef and waitress had still managed to fumble the order (which was written down) and we ended up short on food. The customer service was horrendous and the quality of sushi was second-rate at best. We were so fed up with the experience we lost our appetite; we didn’t even bother waiting for the remaining food; paid the bill and left. You can rest assured, I will not be returning to this establishment ever. Please also watch out for their laughable practice of applying "service charges" on all bills.
