I found the food to be not too bad, but the price for what you got was way to high. There were no rolls or bread served prior to the meal and I could have used one to finish off my pasta sauce. The caesar salad was awful - the taste it has left in my mouth is terrible - I can still taste it and I was charged $7 for it. They certainly make a lot of money on this salad. Our waiter left a lot to be desired. He had to come back and check what sauce I was having, then brought me the wrong salad, forgot to bring one of the other individuals in our party her drink. There were six of us and we asked that 3 individuals be on one bill and 3 of us asked for separate bills and he brought it all on one! But did get the other 3 individuals on one bill correct. Then said it would take him awhile to figure out who had what in order to separate it. I've eaten at Il Fornello's in downtown Toronto many years ago, and found it very good, but this location really isn't worth going back to. I know we won't be going back. None of us mind paying for a good meal and service and have eaten at many fine restaurants and I'm sorry this doesn't rate anything more than one star and I wouldn't rate it's price as Moderate - for what you get.
