Overall experience; Fantastic! Food was delicious! Portions sizes were perfect! You've got to try the Black bean & corn Quinoa! New restaurant, so new staff; but fantastic people, and great personalities. Not to mention, it would be fantastic for a gathering with lots of people, large tables for a family sharing appeal. They even have a upstairs room with chalkboard paint along the walls for a kids zone! Overall First experience Amazing in everyway.

I must admit, when I read the last review I was afraid to even try this place. I was pleasantly surprised and relieved that I did! Luci Restaurant is a gem tucked away in the heart of Etobicoke, just what the Queensway needed. Imagine for a second all the charm and good food from downtown Toronto right in the heart of a quaint neighborhood not far from home....appealing isn't it? The decor is subtle and modernly pleasing, the service AMAZING and attentive, and the food is REMARKABLE! We had a young server with a quiet and pleasing demeanor, who was willing to make us happy at any cost (John?) and the manager was equally helpful, attending to our every needs as if each table was his own. This type of service you do not get anywhere else. As for the food, i cannot go on enough about how perfectly delicious it was. The chicken was tender and the fish was superb! I do agree with the last statement, the veggies were a little under cooked, but still not bad enough to complain. I can imagine the long wait and line ups were as a result of their recent write-ups and I now know why this place is hopping. No matter where you go that has this stature of service and food, it will be busy, I do not mind one bit waiting for a meal this good! As far as discounts go, If I were the owner, I would send them to Mc Donalds! I truly hope this restaurant does great, I will definitely be back.

Don't expect them to honour reservations--reserved a week in advance for 7:30 finally seated 8:45--Of course we should have left but they kept promising a table--no apology--no discount. Terrible experience

Simply amazing. The two chefs behind the bar do a great job and the service is always very pleasant. If you know your sushi, you'll appreciate this place. For real!

I was initially impressed with the presentation of the menu by the server but was disappointed by the service. First impressions are not always correct. Food is on par with other high end restaurants but service does not do justice to the chef. Wait staff decided to offer dessert menu 3 hours after initial order. As a result, our group did not have coffee or desserts to end off the evening. In addition, one of the order for the entrees was missed.

The food is amazing! I love Indian food and this restaurant is definitely in my top 3 Indian restaurants!

This restaurant has the worst customer service I've ever experience, especially at the Bathurst and Rutherford location. The GM O*** is rude and has zero people skills.

Govinda should not really be rated as a restaurant because it is really a cultural experience. First of all it's located in a Hare Krishna temple in an amazing room with archways and deity sculptures. Many middle eastern people eat there and it is probably the most authentic vegetarian, middle eastern food I've ever had. I was there on a Saturday at noon and for a 'donation' of $10 you can help yourself to an all-you-can-eat buffet. The question on 'service' is not applicable because there really is no service, but very nice people are there to answer your questions. I only wish I lived in Toronto to go there more often!

Heard that Fernando Temudo finally decided to venture off on his own and created what is "Luci's Restaurant". Fernando has Managed some of the best restaurants in the city so my expectations were definately high. Wow - there was no disappointment, that's for sure. You first get greeted by the wizard himself and he truly makes you feel at home. Once you are seated, you look around the place and say, "this feels nice". Its not stuffy nor overly casual. It's just the right fit. Now on to the most important commentary I can make and that is about the meal. From the Crab cake appetitizer to the Fillet mignot with frois gois - each plate was supurbly done. Prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. Try it - you'll be going back for certain.
