Had a great time at Spice Route about two weeks ago. Very comfortable, enjoyable, great way to start off the weekend enjoying a drink and soothing ambiance. Not everyone can pull off Asian fusion but Spice Route is definitely an exception.

This place is the new up and coming restaurant that will most likely steal a lot of clients from mevame, sofa, merons. I remember when the same thing happening with mevame taking out sababa and everything else in the area.

Heard that Fernando Temudo finally decided to venture off on his own and created what is "Luci's Restaurant". Fernando has Managed some of the best restaurants in the city so my expectations were definately high. Wow - there was no disappointment, that's for sure. You first get greeted by the wizard himself and he truly makes you feel at home. Once you are seated, you look around the place and say, "this feels nice". Its not stuffy nor overly casual. It's just the right fit. Now on to the most important commentary I can make and that is about the meal. From the Crab cake appetitizer to the Fillet mignot with frois gois - each plate was supurbly done. Prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. Try it - you'll be going back for certain.

We heard Luci Restaurant opened from some friends of ours who raved about it!! We went on a Saturday night (and a few nights since!!) and from the minute you walk in the door you receive a very warm welcome and genuine smile. The service is impeccable - the food delicious and the place has a warm friendly ambiance. It's a MUST try - guarantee you'll become a regular!! Great Job Luci Restaurant!! See you again soon.

I really enjoyed my steak and the waiter was super friendly and halpful even suggesting wine that would go best with our meals.

just found this place out of nowhere, and the food was excellent. They are right "not your tyipcal pub food" but to sit by the water and still be in the city is a great feeling.

THE BEST CHICKEN ROTI I EVER HAD CLEAN PLACE AND GREAT SERVICE TOO

I’ve been a customer at Made in China for a couple of years and I’m happy to say they never disappoint. They have a lunch offering that is unbeatable. For ten dollars (including tax and tip) they serve a variety of tasty lunch specials that change every week, including General Tao Chicken, Pad Thai Beef (this not just Chinese food, but what they call “Asian Fusion”), Kung Po Pork, and Spare Ribs in Oyster sauce. They cook everything to order, which is great since I don’t like too much spice. Lunch includes soup, a large portion of rice, and they even throw in a soft drink or all the jasmine tea you can drink (if you want to skip the soup it will cost you a dollar less). Where the ambience is rather drab in so many Asian restaurants, this place has a series of colourful murals right out of the 1950s that include pictures of Chairman Mao, Zhou En-lai, pretty girls having a whale of a time gathering crops from the fields, kids and animals in space suits, and several cute pandas. Great value all the way.
